Singing impressionist Richard Bates was axed from TV show Britain's Got Talent yesterday because he is a sex offender, police have confirmed.A Lancashire police force spokesman said there were concerns that the singer, 27, might be seen on the programme by his victim or victim's family.
The winner of the talent show will get the oppurtunity to perform at the Royal Variety Show.
