Davina To Quit Big Brother?

Davina McCall has quit Big Brother to become a serious actress, according to reports.

The presenter, who has fronted the Channel 4 reality show since 2000, will launch her new career when the ninth series ends this summer.

A source told the News of the World, "She has finally realised the time is right to move on. After doing so many series of Big Brother, she's become seriously bored."

A Channel 4 insider said, "Davina has had to make some very hard choices. There is an understanding at Big Brother that it's very unlikely she'll be back."

"How many times can she keep on saying, ‘Big Brother House, this is Davina. You are live on Channel 4. Please do not swear'? This really is make or break time for her."

The 40-year-old will reportedly star in a major ITV drama later this year.

Ulrika Jonsson Wins Celeb Big Brother

Ulrika Jonsson was announed as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2009 beating runner-up Terry Christian.

Ulrika, 41, described her 22 days in the house as "the weirdest experience of my entire life and I’ve had quite a weird life."

Her victory shocked the bookies as actor Verne Troyer (famous for Mini Me) was the hot favourite to win.

Rapper Coolio was in third place, Verne in fourth and ex-A1 singer Ben Adams in fifth.

Davina Will Stay With Big Brother

Davina McCall says she’ll host Big Brother as long as it’s on our screens.

Speaking exclusively to heat magazine she said “As long as they’re doing it, I should probably be hosting it.”

The TV presenter is dizzy with excitement ahead of the launch of the new series this week but says she’ll miss pal Dermot O’ Leary who left Big Brother’s Little Brother at the end of last series to host the X-Factor. BBLB’s new presenters are Zezi Ifore and George Lamb. “I don’t think Dermot wanted to give up Little Brother.” Says Davina. “ It’s not something he did easily or lightly, so it must be quite weird for him to see somebody else doing BB with me. “

The mum of two hasn’t ruled out having more children but says it would need to work around BB. She revealed: “If I was ever going to get pregnant again, it would be slotted in around Big Brother. I would never get pregnant so I was due in July that means somebody else would have to take over and I want to do it!” So I know never to get pregnant before Christmas.”

She laughed: “There’ll be no more babies, as I can’t thin of any more slogans to have on my clothes as the end of the series. I’ve used them all up.”

Big Brother 9 Clues

Big Brother has revealed clues about this year's 16 housemates.

This year's house will include a Buddhist, a Muslim, one who starred in a film with Hugh Grant and another has had a breast enlargement.

One contestant has never watched the show and another owns a £13,000 watch.

Big Brother 9 starts tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.

Davina To Stay With Big Brother

Davina McCall has rubbished rumours she’s planning to quit as Big Brother host.

The TV star told heat magazine the story is “utter bollocks”.

It was reported that the BB star is planning to quit the programme after the current run, with insiders claiming that, as the nation gears up for the ninth year of the show, Davina would be hanging up her host’s mic in order to launch an acting career.

Keen to squash the speculation, Davina said, “This is a silly rumour. There is no truth in it."

The talk started when Davina left her agent, John Noel, last month. Noel, also oversees the careers of fellow ex-BB presenters Russell Brand and Dermot O’Leary, and has proved a close tie to the show.

A BB insider commented: “BB has always been Davina’s baby and she’s never had any plans to leave. She loves the show and knows it’s great for her career – she’d really miss it if she left."

Big Brother’s Aisleyne Hogan-Wallace is mentoring Amy Winehouse through her problems.

Aisleyne was pictured entering Amy’s London pad last week and now a friend has told heat magazine Aisleyne is acting as Amy’s new mentor, saying they’re ‘thick as thieves’.

The friend revealed, “Aisleyne met Amy through a mutual friend. They got on brilliantly and swapped numbers.”

“Aisleyne is great a giving advice and has been really helping Amy with her many problems. They’ve been spending hours on the phone, sometimes chatting until four in the morning. People think it’s a weird pairing, but they’ve got a lot on common.”

For those of you that care:

Just 640,000 viewers tuned in to see 20-year-old Scottish politician John Loughton win Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.

The new format did not prove to be as successful as bosses hoped.

Channel 4 bosses decided to change its format after last year's race row involving Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty. This year, the housemates were 12 young people chosen for their intelligence and talent while the celebrities took it in turns to take over the role of Big Brother.

BB8 Winner Brian Belo In BB:CH Appearence

The housemates in Big Brother:Celebrity Hijack were left reeling after Big Brother 8's winner Brian Belo made a surprise appearance today, dressed only in a towel.

To the group's confusion, DJ Chris Moyles (who was controlling the housemates) boomed: "This is Bigger Brother, will Brian come to the Diary Room."

Moyles had struggled all day to get many of the housemates names correct, having mistakenly referred to Liam as Leon and Amy as Annie, and so the group assumed that he had made another blunder.

Their confusion soon turned to shock when Brian Belo, winner of last year's Big Brother, emerged from the bathroom dressed in only a towel.

"Big Brother always calls me to the Diary Room when I'm in the shower," raged the reality star as he stomped to the Diary Room.

"Who was that?" asked Amy, as Anthony informed her of the identity of their intruder.

"These things shock me so much," admitted Liam as Emilia called: "Bring him back."___________________________________________________________

Big Brother Celebrity Hijack Revealed

Earlier this year Channel 4 decided to axe Celebrity Big Brother following the Shilpa Shetty race scandal. It has been announced that it will be replaced with Big Brother Celebrity Hijack.

Instead of celebrity housemates, the celebs will act as Big Brother.

A spokeswoman said: “Viewers will be able to see the celebrities as they act as the voice of Big Brother In addition, the stars will also help set tasks, make their own rules, and help cause havoc.”

The show will air on E4 in January, reports The Sun.

Samanda Planning US Trip To Meet Paris

Twins Sam and Amanda have decided to spend the money they have earned since leaving Big Brother by flying to America so that they can meet their idol Paris Hilton.

The pink-loving sisters, who were runners-up in this year's show have admitted that they would love to be like the hotel heiress.

Sam said of the socialite, "We just love everything about her. Her style, her music. She’s our favouritest."

But Amanda revealed it would be the first time they will have ever stepped on a plane, saying. "We’ve never been abroad ever."

Jade's Been "Fucking Burgled"

Reality TV star Jade Goody was devastated by a burglary at her £500,000 home in which valuables worth up to £30,000 were stolen.

The burglars smashed a window at the house which was packed with widescreen televisions and state-of-the-art electrical equipment, reports Daily Mail.

The Big Brother star is reported to have stormed out screaming, "I've been f****ing burgled!" as police examined the scene.

When police arrived they noticed that the tax disc on Jade's car was out of date, so she she had to rush to buy a new one.

Jade, who split from Jack Tweed a while ago, "has not stopped crying," since the burgulary say pals according to Metro.

Did Rodman Smack That Ass?

Dennis Rodman is in trouble with the law for allegedly smacking the ass of a female bar hopper.

One source says the ex-basketball star allegedly slapped the woman's rear so hard, it left a "major mark."

But Rodman's rep told TMZ, "That is just another woman trying to extort money out of Dennis, and I am sure the situation will work itself out in Dennis' favor."

Charlie Clements was spotted getting close with Big Brother twins Sam and Amanda at the MOBO Awards.

The EastEnders actor who plays Bradley Branning was happy to see Samanda.

Charlie asked to have his picture taken with them before kissing each of them on the cheek and moving on.

Later in the evening, he walked past their table again, and blew them a kiss.

An onlooker told BANG Showbiz, "He looked really excited to see the twins, and was so happy when they agreed to have their picture taken with him."

"He was getting quite close to them - he was virtually sitting on top of them at one point!"
