Joss Stone's Family Want Her Back In The UK

Joss Stone's family have advised her to quit the US and return home to the UK.

Her family is worried that the singer is struggling to cope with the pressures of fame.

Over the past months the singer has been mocked for her American accent and booed when she turned up an hour late for a concert.

A family source told the Daily Star Sunday: "She could do a lot worse than take a rest with her family. It would be like rehab without the rehab - a real career-saving move."

Stone's grandfather added: "My house is an open house for Joss. The family is here for her. I am over 80 and have all her records. When I hear her on the wireless I am very proud. We just want her to be happy."

Joss Blames Drinking On Her Nationality

Singer Joss Stone says she's been drinking since her early teens, report The Sun.

Well what do you expect, she is English! [Don't let that dodgy American accent fool you].

Joss says, “I’ve been drinking beer since I was 13. I’m English! Sometimes I smoke, sometimes I drink. But I don’t go on binges."

“I’m not a genuine bad girl. I don’t want to ruin my voice."

“But when I’m home in England, I have a beer and a smoke. Sometimes I even smoke weed.”

DJ/producer Mark Ronson has criticised Joss Stone for having a "really annoying attitude".

DigitalSpy reports, Ronson was left speechless by the 7,000-word list of thank yous that Stone prepared for her Introducing Joss Stone album.

He told NME, "Those Joss Stone sleevenotes, man... I've been around white singers who've been told they're soulful since a young age and they feel they have carte blanche to be 'I'm a down groovy soul chick' - this really annoying attitude that permeates everything."

"Part of me thinks, 'Well, she's 19, I did so many stupid things when I was 19,' but she's being rammed down my throat, so I'm allowed to have an opinion."

Joss Furious With Being Airbrushed

Joss Stone is reportedly furious that she has been airbrushed on the cover of Harper's Bazaar.

She is pictured without her pink hair and nose ring on the front cover of the fashion magazine.

The Daily Mail reports that the 19 year old singer has been tellin friends, "Some fashion magazine, I'll never work with them again."

However, a spokeswoman for the magazine said: "As far as we are aware, her management is really happy with the cover."

Joss Calls British Press "Mean"

She is devastated that she has become a target for British journalists since her bizarre appearance at last month's Brit Awards where she turnde up with an American accent.

The 19 year old singer said, "It is funny that the only press that has been mean is my home. They are mean and it is not fair. So what if we want to dance on tables? So what? What you going to do about it? Why does that hurt you?"

"It's crazy. They expect you to be one, indestructible and two, just like not human whatsoever. We are not allowed to have fun or cry or be too happy. You can't be too happy. You can't be too sad either. You kind of have to be middling. That is just not real."

Producer Blasts Joss Stone

Producer Dallas Austin has launched a scathing attack on Joss Stone, reports DigitalSpy.

Austin, who recently produced Girls Aloud and Sugababes' Comic Relief single 'Walk This Way', claimed in an interview with Rowdy TV that Stone slept with rapper Novel to secure his creative input on her Introducing Joss Stone album.

An angry Austin said: "The problem you got is her - Joss Stone - and all these bitches wanna f**k for tracks...I had nothing to do with her f**king Novel to get her tracks. That's all she was doing to each producer."

Joss Stone's Album Shunned By UK Fans

Joss Stone is going to be disappointed with her new album sales, following her recent media appearances.

In the previous months Joss has had some disatarous PR, including being two hours late on stage for a recent gig, and she appeared at the BRITS with a dodgy style and the fakest American accent ever.

Her album 'Introducing Joss Stone' is at No12 in the midweek charts.She is currently being outsold by X Factor's Ray Quinn and Ben Mills. Simply Red's 13th release Stayis also doing better than Joss Stone's album.

Joss Is No Slut

Joss Stone has revealed to Q magazine, that she will not go out partying in a mini-skirt without wearing underwear.

The singer promised that she will never follow in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, who have all been caught out by photographers in recent months.

Joss said, I would never wear a short skirt with no knickers, because that would be silly. If you do that it's basically like saying you're a slut. And I'm not."

Joss Is Lonely

Joss Stone has complained that she is unlucky in love, saying, "Guys don't like me", reports The Mirror.

The singer is worried that her fame and height intimidate potential boyfriends.

She said: "Guy's don't like me. Maybe I'm too tall or too famous or too difficult. If I like someone, they either don't like me or they mess with me."
