I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! producers are hoping that Pete Doherty will sign up for the new series of the show. ITV executives believe that the Babyshambles frontman's stories about his on-off relationship with Kate Moss and his drug addiction would bring in the viewers.

Producers are also hoping to snap up Russell Brand and want this year's series to have the best mix of celebrities yet.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday, "Whether you love them or hate them, they're both real characters. There wouldn't be a dull moment with those two in the jungle."

Another possible contestant is Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton, who could spill the beans on her break-up with singer Samuel Preston. Former Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson has also been approached, adds Digital Spy.

Doherty Next To Pass The Soap?

Rocker Pete Doherty is facing jail after an alleged drugs bust, reports Mirror.

The Babyshambles singer – engaged to Kate Moss, 33 – is said to have been caught with crack cocaine and cannabis.

Doherty was held over night in police station after being stopped by police.

A police spokesman said, “A 28-year-old man was searched and arrested at 10pm on Saturday. He was bailed until June.”

Doherty has a string of drugs convictions to his name. Last month he promised in court he would stick to his rehab programme.

A source said, “Pete’s had more lives than a cat. The judge warned last time it was his final chance. If he finds himself back in court he knows that he could be sent down.”

Rehab is so last season. Prison is all the rage now, just ask Paris.

Doherty Going Back To Rehab

Pete Doherty will miss girlfriend Kate Moss's fashion launch this week because he is checking back into rehab, reports Digital Spy.

The Babyshambles frontman, 28, has been booked into a clinic, where he will be provided with an implant to help beat his heroin addiction.

A pal told the Sunday Mirror, "Pete did go out on a bender last week, but he has reduced his intake massively and he hopes the new implant will help him quit for good."

Moss launches her new fashion collection on Tuesday at Topshop in London.

Doherty Splashes The Paparazzi

TMZ reports, Pete Doherty threw a bucket of water at photogs who waiting in front of Kate Moss's London pad. And the next morning he continued his attack with, erm, tomato ketchup.

Kate Moss Throws Sandwich At Her Fiance

Kate Moss threw a cheese sandwich at her fiancé Pete Doherty after he called her his "beautiful fiancée."

The supermodel lost her temper with Doherty after he dedicated a song to his "beautiful fiancée" during a solo show in London.

Once the gig had finished, an angry Moss went up to Pete backstage and warned, "Say that again and it ain't happening. I don't want you to say that ever again!"

A source told The Mirror, "She picked up the cheese sandwich and hurled it at him, hitting him in the forehead. Pete looked a little shell-shocked and muttered 'sorry' before Kate calmed down."

"He thought it was a romantic gesture calling her his fiancée on stage but he won't be doing that again in a hurry."

Fiery chef Gordon Ramsay is the most admired man and Pete Doherty the least admired, according to a survey.

Professor Stephen Hawking, TV survival expert Ray Mears, actor Daniel Craig and comedy star Ricky Gervais also feature in the survey of figures that British men have the most respect for.

Pete Doherty is the least respected British man followed by Russell Brand and footballer David Beckham in the survey for men's magazine Esquire.

The magazine interviewed 500 men and also found Scarlett Johansson is the woman the majority want to bed, have dinner with and marry.

Kate Hurts Her Foot

It is beleived that Kate Moss required ten stitches after treading on a glass picture frame at the weekend, reports Mirror.

Kate put up with the pain at her Cotswolds home until it all got too much.

She went to London's Harley Street for treatment, along with Pete.

Pete helped the supermodel back to their car after she had been sewn up.

An onlooker told the paper: "When photographers asked her what was wrong she laughed, 'Like I'm telling you'."

Kate & Pete On The Move

Pete Doherty and Kate Moss are looking to move home - and have viewed houses on the road where Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow live, reports The Sun.

Pete and Kate have taken a second look at a house in Belsize Park, North London.

A source said: "They have looked at this place on Chris and Gwyneth's road and are pretty keen.

"They like it because there are options to make it a bit more private from the road, just like Chris has.

"But even if they don't go for it, Chris and Gwyneth won't totally escape. All three houses they are considering are within a few streets of each other."

Other celebs which live in the area include Little Britain star David Walliams, comedian Chris Evans and singer turned actress Billie Piper.
