Cattrall Confirms SATC Movie Sequel

Kim Cattrall, who played maneater Samantha Jones in the hit TV series Sex And The City, was the last of the original main cast - which included Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis - to agree to star in the big-screen adaptation.

Earlier this year, Parker talked about the possibility of a sequel to the blockbuster.

Speaking in a TV interview on Tuesday, Cattrall revealed that a follow-up is indeed in the pipeline.

She said, "Yes, there will be a sequel. We will do the sequel next summer."

"We wanted to (film) the first time, and now we're hopefully doing it again for the second time".

However, she added that it was "difficult getting everybody who's so incredibly busy all together at the same time".

Cynthia Nixon Proud Of Lesbian Lover

Cynthia Nixon is proud of her lesbian lover. The Sex & The City star told Closer magazine, “I love her very much. We share our lives together.”

Cynthia split from the father of her two children and her partner of 15 years, Danny Mozes, then started a lesbian relationship with Christine Marinoni, an educational activist. Five years on the couple are still going strong and the children even call Christine ‘mom’. She explained, “I don’t think it would be fair at all if I didn’t acknowledge who Christine was in my life and my kids’ lives.”

The actress, who has known her SATC co-star Sarah Jessica Parker since she was 11 admits she had a great time filming the SATC movie with her old chum. She told Closer, “There’s something incredible that comes from doing a scene with someone you’ve known for 30 years.”

SJP Won't Turn To Botox

Sarah Jessica Parker says she won’t turn to Botox to beat the ageing process.

Despite admitting the entertainment industry is a hard place to age in SJP told Eve magazine, “I believe in ageing gracefully – and of course, buying as many anti-ageing creams as possible!”

A far cry from her immaculately turned out character Carrie Bradshaw, SJP admits: “I never dress up that much. I can’t even blow-dry my own hair and I don’t know how to put make-up on either! I never do my nails. I’ve probably worn nail polish twice in 10 years.”

“I’ll admit I do know how to cover a zit and put on mascara and eyeliner, but I can only out my hair into a ponytail, nothing else.”

J Hud Joins Sex And The City Movie

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has joined the cast of Sex and the City: The Movie.

According to comingsoon.net, Hudson will play the role of Carrie Bradshaw's assistant. Carrie is played by Sarah Jesicca Parker.
The film will also star Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. The film revolves around the lives of the four main Sex and the City characters. The TV show ended after a six-year run in 2004.

The movie will begin shooting in New York on Sept. 19.
