Efron & Hudgens Sign For HSM 3

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have been confirmed as the stars of High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Disney have announced that the pair will be joined by Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman for the final installment of the hit franchise.

The movie - scheduled to begin shooting in the spring - will see Troy (Efron) and Gabriella (Hudgens) coming to terms with being separated when they start college.

It will be released in US cinemas on October 24.

It was rumoured that Vanessa would not appear in the final installment after nude pictures of the actress appeared on the Internet.

Hudgens Sued Over Unpaid Fees

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has had a lawsuit filed against her for $150,000 over alleged unpaid lawyers' fees.

Apparently Vanessa agreed to pay attorney Brian Schall 5% of her earnings from October 2005 if he would represent her legally.

Schall is now suing the 18-year-old, claiming that she has earned over $5 million since she approached him, but she still has not paid him $150,000.

Representatives for Hudgens have not yet commented, according to the Associated Press.

Zanessa Over?

According to OK! High Scool Musical stars Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron have decided to end their relationship.

According to a source, while Zac was away promoting Hairspray, Vanessa was at a party, where eyewitnesses say she was "all over" her older date (not Zac). And when someone asked about Zac, Vanessa "threw a fit and said 'don't mention his name!'"

The same source claims that the split is official.

It was recently claimed that Zac had decided to stay with Vanessa and support her after her nude pics were leaked online.

Disney Talk About The Vanessa Scandal

Vanessa Hudgen’s High School Musical bosses at Disney have spoken about her naughty pics which have ended up on the Internet.

A spokesperson for the Disney Channel told Us, "Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment. We hope she's learned a valuable lesson."

Talking about rumours that Vanessa is going to be replaced in High School Musical 3 the spokey added, "Walt Disney Studios, as a matter of policy, doesn't comment on ongoing negotiations."

Vanessa Hudgens Issues Apology

Vanessa Hudgens has apologized to her fans after nude pictures of her leaked on to the Internet.

The High School Musical star said in a statement, "I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me. I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends."

Us adds that the 18-year-old is currently in negotiations to star in High School Musical 3.

Poor Vanessa, the pics were meant to be private; how did they find their way onto the 'net? I hope this doesn't ruin her career.

High School Musical 2 will be shown in the UK on 21 September on the Disney Channel.
