Jada Defends TomKat

Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has defended her close friend Katie Holmes and her marriage to Tom Cruise.

In an interview with People, Jada - wife of Will Smith - dismissed claims that Tom Cruise controls his wife. She added that Tom never forced Scientology onto Katie.

Jada said, "Tom don't run nothin' in that house! It is Katie's house. It's her world."

"She's young, she popped into motherhood very fast. If you think about the transition she's done, with as much grace she's had, and on top of it with the attacks – I don't know how she does it."

"Kate ain't no little wimpy kitty cat," she is a "tigress".

Will Smith Hurt While Filming

Will Smith, 38, was treated in hospital after injuring himself while filming an action scene on his new vampire movie I Am Legend, reports The Mirror.

A spokesman for the star said: "He strained his shoulder and after filming immediately went to the hospital in New York. Next day he was back at work. It is not anything major or life threatening."
