Ashlee & Pete Wentz Tie The Knot

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married on Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony, their spokesperson told People.

"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," said the spokesperson.

Simpson, 23, and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at her parents' Los Angeles area home.

Dad Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony, while sister Jessica served as maid of honor. Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway, was the ring-bearer. Guests included Jessica's boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

Baby Girl For 'Ecstatic' Richie & Madden

Nicole Richie has given birth to a baby girl named Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

A rep for Nicole, 26 and her 'Good Charlotte' singer boyfriend Joel Madden, 28, exclusively told People, "The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents."

The baby was born on Friday.

Nicole & Joel Set Wedding Date?

Sources tell TMZ that Nicole Richie is set to marry Joel Madden in a small ceremony that is to take place October 13 in Laguna Beach, California.

Nicole is currently about 6 months pregnant.

Nicole Richie Confirms Pregnancy

Nicole Richie confirmed what we have all known since ages. In an interview with Diane Sawyer, the 'Simple Life' star was asked if she was pregnant. Nicole replied, "Yes I am. We are. I'm almost four months."

She is dating Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden.

Nicole Bumped Up And Banged Up?

Nicole Richie will spend four days in prison for driving the wrong way down a motorway while on drugs, reports The Sun. Richie, 25, was also ordered to go to rehab and fined £1,000. She has until September 28 to serve her sentence.

Richie was arrested in California in December for driving her Mercedes on the wrong side of the road while on her mobile. She admitted driving under the influence. It is her second driving under the influence conviction in five years.

She can get tips from her pal Paris Hilton - who recently spent 23 says in the slammer - on how to get through prison life.

It is also believed that Nicole is three or four months pregnant with her boyfriend Joel Madden's baby.

Nicole And Joel Split

Nicole Richie has split from Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, according to reports.

Nicole was shocked when Madden decided to end their relationship during a recent trip to Australia, where they clashed at a MTV Video Music Awards after-party.

A source told the Daily Star, "Joel was acting like a single man at the awards party and they openly argued. Nicole was in tears at one stage."

Madden is believed to have told friends that Nicole was too "clingy" throughout the trip.

Fergie won Sexiest Video, while Justin Timberlake and Timbaland won Best Hook-up [collaboration].

Australian Idol stars Guy Sebastian and Shannon Noll also walked away with Best Pop Video & Best Male Artist, respectively.

Evanescence, Red Hot Chili Peppers & Good Charlotte, were among the other winners.

Joel Madden was co-host for the event which included an appearance from Nicole Richie.The show included performances from Fergie, Teddy Geiger and 30 Seconds To Mars.

Even though he was denied entry to Australia, rapper Snoop Dogg was still part of the ceremony via a recorded message.

Hilary's First Meeting With Joel

Hilary Duff had her first run in with her ex boyfriend Joel Madden on Monday, reports People.

Hilary said, "I just did TRL today and Joel was there, and it was the first time we'd seen each other and it was so, like, nerve-racking. I knew that he was going to be there and he knew. It is what it is."

"I mean, what am I going to do? It's life."

Hilary reveals that it did feel a little awkward, saying, "It was a little strange at first, but I wish nothing but good for him and I know that he wishes the same for me. I'm happy and he's happy and I think that's all that counts."

Hilary Duff has condemned Paris Hilton for her attention-seeking ways.

"Paris brings attention to herself. Some people do things on a night out they know will get talked about," Contactmusic quoted Hilary, as saying.

Paris was recently snapped on a night out without any underwear.

Meanwhile The Mirror reports, although Paris and Nicole have made up, Hilary is now going after Nicole.

Hilaty writes in a song: "Always with Mr Right, but then you have a fight. Run into your friend's ex, he's happy to be your next."

She's also said to call Nic "sick" and "shameless".

Madden Accused Of Attacking Woman

Beverly Hills Police Department is investigating rocker Joel Madden, after a female photographer filed a "crime report" claiming he attacked her during a violent confrontation on Sunday night, reports TMZ

According to police sources, the woman claimed Madden struck her on the left breast "with the heel of his hand" as the rocker tried to escort his girlfriend, Nicole Richie, out of the back door of a restaurant in Beverly Hills.

The photographer told TMZ that she has a welt to prove it, and had to see a doctor for treatment.

Police reps told TMZ that they take every claim seriously, and a crime report was taken on this incident.

A rep for Madden had no comment.

Nicole's boyfriend Joel did not want to have his pic taken, so he decided to push around a photographer
