Diversity Win Britains Got Talent

Dance group Diversity managed to pip Susan Boyle to the post and win Britain's Got Talent 2009. They will now perform in front of the Queen during the Royal Variety Show.

Duffy Wins Big At BRITS

Welsh singer Duffy was the big winner at the BRIT awards, taking three awards. The show included performances by The Killers, Lady GaGa and Coldplay.

Another new hairdo for the fabulous Kylie when she attended the Q Awards in London yesterday. The singer was named Q Idol.

What is the Q Idol award? It seems Kylie is clueless as I am. After her win she said, "Just don't ask me what it (Q Idol) means, but I'm very grateful and honoured to be receiving this."

Coronation Street Wins Best Soap

Coronation Street won title of Best Soap at this year's Inside Soap Awards. The ITV soap won five out of the 14 awards available. Winners for Corrie included Jack P Shepherd who won Best Bad Boy for his role as David Platt and Rob James-Collier (Liam Connor) won the award for Sexiest Male and Best Newcomer.

Eastenders also won five awards including Best Actress for Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater) and Best Storyline for Stella's torment of Ben.

The Bill was named Best Drama and Emmerdale won two awards while Hollyoaks walked away with just one.

Estelle was at the MOBO awards lat night to present the award for Best UK Female. The winner was Amy Winehouse who almost tripped coming on stage, almost had a wadrobe malfunction and then barely saif four words after winning! See the vid here.

Klaxons Win Mercury Prize

The Klaxons won the Nationwide Mercury Prize for the best album of the past year. The rock band scooped the £20,000 prize for their debut album Myths of the Near Future.

But the star of the night was Amy Winehouse. She may have missed out on the prize but her performance of Love Is A Losing Game was sensational.

Ugly Betty Wins Big At The 2007 ALMA Awards

The 2007 ALMA Awards were hosted by 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria but 'Ugly Betty' was the big winner - picking up four gongs including 'Outstanding Television Series'.

Ana Ortiz [Hilda Suarez] won 'Outstanding Supporting Actress' and America Ferrera picked up an award for 'Outstanding Actress' for her role as Betty Suarez.

The show also won an award for 'Outstanding Writer'.

Ivor Novello Awards Victory

After partying in LA, Amy Winehouse made a last minute dash to London to attend the Ivor Novello Awards. The trip was definetly worth it as the singer walked away with an award, when her hit 'Rehab' was named 'best contemporary song'.

Arctic Monkeys collected the 'Best Album' award for Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not. International hit of the year was won by Madonna for Sorry.
