'Housewives' Actor To Make 'Full Recovery'

Gale Harold has left intensive care and is expected to make a full recovery, his representative has confirmed.

The Desperate Housewives actor was rushed to hospital following a motorcycle crash on October 14.

The 39-year-old, who suffered a fractured shoulder and swelling of the brain, was under observation at Los Angeles County USC Medical Centre.

Harold's representative said in a statement, "Gale Harold is out of intensive care and improving daily. A full recovery is expected. He thanks everyone for their good wishes."

It is believed that some scenes had to be re-written.

Metcalfe Denies 'I'm A Celeb' Reports

Actor Jesse Metcalfe has squashed rumours he is set to take part in reality series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Reports suggested that Metcalfe would appear as a contestant in the TV programme when it starts next month. But Metcalfe has denied the reports, saying, "I'm against reality shows. I find them very exploitative. I don't think they're that cool."

However, the Desperate Housewives star hasn't ruled out appearing on a reality show "in the later stages of my career, if ever I needed some money."

Eva Longoria was in the UK to promote her new film 'Over Her Dead Body' and in 48 hours she showed off six outfits, and the Desperate Housewives star looked great in all of them.She spent some time in Topshop on Wednesday, and then slipped into a white frock for the Spice Girls concert in Manchester. On Thursday, she went back to black for an interview with Richard and Judy.

She claims to be the perfect housewife as she cooks, cleans, and does laundry.

She says, "I'm very domestic. I clean, I sew. I do Tony's laundry. I cook every day."

Apology Over ‘Desperate Housewives’ Filipino Remark

ABC have apologized to the country of Philippines after people were unhappy about a comment that was made by Susan Mayer (played by Teri Hatcher) on TV show Desperate Housewives.

A doctor suggested to Susan that she was going through the menopause, to which she replied, "OK, before we go any further, can I check these diplomas? Just to make sure they aren't, like, from some med school in the Philippines?"

ABC said in their statement that they offered “sincere apologies for any offence caused by the brief reference” and there “was no intent to disparage the integrity of any aspect of the medical community in the Philippines."

The comment was made during the season premiere of the hit show.

Teri Hatcher Single?

Teri Hatcher has been dating director Stephen Kaye, but it seems that the couple have split.

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry talked about how he would handle it if another DS star gto pregnant, “Well, Eva [Longoria] and Tony [Parker] want kids at some point, but I don’t think it’s going to happen soon,” Cherry said. “Felicity [Huffman] is done...I don’t think Nicollette [Sheridan] wants to have kids.”

As for Hatcher, he said, “Teri’s not with a guy right now.”

Marcia Cross had twins earlier this year.

Longoria Hates Kissing On 'Housewives'

Eva Longoria has admitted that she does not enjoy kissing her male co-stars on Desperate Housewives.

As part of her role as Gabrielle Solis, the actress has locked lips with some of show's actors, including Jesse Metcalfe.

The Sun quotes Eva saying, "It was weird for me even before I was married. I hate the kissing. Kissing is the most intimate thing."

Longoria added that she does not speak to her husband Tony Parker about her character's on-screen antics.

"I'm not sure he's happy with it, but he's not the crazy husband about it," she explained. "We don't talk about it because it's just not a comfortable thing to talk about."

Robbie And Becks To Play Gay Couple?

Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry revealed that he is going to introduce a gay couple to Wisteria Lane. According to reports the characters could be played by David Beckham and Robbie Williams.

Cherry said, "David and Robbie are perfect to star as the new neighbours' best friends; the gorgeous, eccentric couple flown over from Blighty [Britain].

"We haven't had that kind of wow for the wives since Jesse Metcalfe left and we want it to cause such a stir when they turn out to be together."

It is also believed that Victoria Beckham will appear in an episode of Ugly Betty.

Desperate Housewives Actress Hits Out At Pantyless Stars

Desperate Housewives star, Nicollette Sheridan, has hit out at the pantyless partying ways made famous by celebs like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

Sheridan said that young stars deserve to be caught on camera, if they are going to go about flashing their private parts.

"I think it serves you right getting caught by the paparazzo if you are going to be getting out of a car like that. Disgraceful," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

The 45-year-old added, "They make fabulous underwear that is seamless, so there's no need for you to go, as they say, commando."

Eva Longoria Considers Adoption

Eva Longoria and her fiancé Tony Parker are considering adopting a baby.

The 'Desperate Housewives' actress, 32 has revealed that the couple could adopt after they get married.

She said, "We both have big hearts and the finances to do it, and we want to be able to provide an environment of love and stability to a child who otherwise wouldn't have that."

Eva and basketball star Tony, 25, will get married in July.
